SUMMARY

Reporting to the Lead of QHSE Training, Quality & Continual Education, the QHSE Training Professional supports the QHSE Audit Optimization Department. This role assists in maintaining the quality of QHSE Manual Audits, training new auditors, and overseeing ongoing education initiatives. Seeking a self-motivated individual capable of independent work, thriving under pressure, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. This role is “auditing”/performing quality checks our safety auditors; therefore, safety experience is essential to this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Training:

  • Help facilitate training sessions for new Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) and Independent Contractor (IC) Auditors, aiding regional managers in their onboarding efforts.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to QHSE Associates or Professionals.

QHSE Quality:

  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions for audits.
  • Support Audit Quality methodologies to ensure product quality and reliability for Avetta customers.
  • Review Auditors’ assessments of Supplier QHSE management systems, programs, and protocols based on the services provided.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely completion of investigations and identification of corrective actions.
  • Validate the accuracy, relevance, and applicability of documentation for corrective actions with auditors.
  • Ensure Avetta’s compliance with ISO 9001 and Certification standards.

Continual Education:

  • Support the Continual Education of QHSE Professionals through calibration sessions, identifying top error categories, and sharing best practices.
  • Assist in related Training and Corrective Action initiatives for QHSE Auditors.

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required; additional fluency in Portuguese is strongly preferred.
  • Cognitive skills with the ability to be trained to effectively interpret and make decisions based on regulatory Latin America Countries Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations (Such as: STPS Norma Official Mexicana, SRT and ART for Argentina, and similar Department of labor regulations)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a QHSE-related discipline is highly preferred.
  • Possession of an advanced Safety designation (CSP, ASP, NEBOSH, etc.).
  • Preferred Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
  • 5+ years of robust experience in safety supply chain management.
  • Prior experience in an Avetta HSE Professional role is advantageous.
  • Profound knowledge and comprehension of OSHA regulations and familiarity with other Regulatory Agencies (EPA, MSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, ANSI, ISO, etc.).
  • Experience with developing and maintaining quality documents.
  • Preferred background in Industry & Field HSE
  • Proficiency in utilizing diverse computer applications such as Access, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, as well as expertise in Web Conferencing Software (e.g., Zoom, Webex, or GoToMeeting) and JIRA.

Job Description

The Academy Hybrid Trainer is a part-time Trainer who is responsible for preparing candidates to become successful employees through professional training programs delivered by the Academy. Hybrid Trainers help trainees learn company products, procedures, values, and standards while providing support and guidance throughout the training process.

Please note that this is an additional role in addition to the employee’s main GP position. It is a role-based promotion, not a position-based promotion.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and individual retraining sessions
  • Ensure trainees learn the correct procedures and skills for each game
  • Support, guide, and mentor trainees throughout their learning journey
  • Monitor trainee performance and KPI results

Education, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Professional working proficiency in English
  • Knowledge of Georgian, Russian, or Turkish is considered an advantage
